Nike SB Thrashin Dunk High
The Nike SB Thrashin Dunk High was released in May 2008, and like another May '08 release, the Nike SB Ferris Bueller Dunk High, the Thrashin Dunks were inspired by a class 80's movie - Thrashin'. Thrashin' was released in 1986 and told the story of two rival skate gangs battling for supremacy. Nike used the movie poster for this movie, which featured Corey Webster holding a skateboard with a spiderweb pattern on it, as the basis for their design. They used this spiderweb pattern throughout the shoe and also took the vibrant reds, yellows, and blues that are seen on the shoe right from the movie poster.
