Nike SB Shimizu Dunk
The Nike Dunk SB High Shimizu, commonly referred to as the Shimizu Dunk or the Skull Dunk was released in October 2004 as a part of the Nike Custom Dunk Series. The shoe received is "Skull Dunk" nickname because of the skull and crossbones featured on it's tongue. Nike also released apparel that matched the Shimizu/Skull Dunk, a rare move from the company.
The shoe's colorway was designed by Daniel Shimizu, which he based off of Macross, his favorite Japanese cartoon.
