Nike SB Kuwahara ET Dunk Low
The Nike SB Kuwahara ET Dunk Low is part of the Nike SB BMX Pack. It may seem a bit odd that Nike SB released a pack of Dunks inspired by BMX bikes, but the did just that. The Kuwahara ET Dunk was inspired by the Kuwahara bike that is seen in the instant classic Speilberg movie "E.T."
The Kuwahara E.T. is constructed from patent leather, with the same red and white gradient thats featured on the Kuwahara bike. The heel tab on the shoe featured a stitched illustration of the bike basket that stored E.T. as they flew through the sky on the Kuwahara.
The world's biggest UFO sighting was in Mexico City on July 11, 1991 with over a 100 separate videos of the event. As a result, Nike decided to release these Dunks early in Mexico before they came to the States.
