Nike SB High Hair Dunk Low
The design for the Nike SB High Hair Dunk Low was inspired by an old can of Aqua Net Hair Spray. This SB Dunk was designed by the three partners at NJ Skate Shop, along with artist Todd Bratrud. The sneaker has two nicknames - the "High Hair Dunk" and the "Bon Jovi Dunk." The High Hair nickname originates from the high hair that was common in NJ in the 1980's where Aqua Net Hair Spray sold 3 times better than it did in any other state. The shoes are also called the Bon Jovi Dunks because the NJ Skate Shop is located in Sayreville, New Jersey - the birthplace of the famous singer, and because the shoes were released on his birthday.
These were available exclusively at the NJ Skate Shop for one week, after which they were available at other shops with Nike SB accounts.
