Nike SB Dinosaur Jr Dunk High
The Nike Dunk SB High Dinosaur Jr. was released in February of 2007. The shoe was a collaboration between Nike and alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr. Dinosaur Jr., composed originally of guitarist J Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow and drummer Murph, was a presence on the alternative scene in the '80s. However, in 1989 tension in the band led Lou Barlow to leave the band. Barlow returned and the original Dinosaur Jr. reunited in 2007 to release a new album - Beyond. To commemorate their reunion and their album the band and Nike collaborated on this Nike SB release. It is one of the most collected sneakers in the SB line and has maintained popularity since its release.
