The first Air Jordan I was Jordan's first official Signature shoe. However it seems like a relative to the [Nike Dunk]. At first Jordan did not seem to like them but wore them anyway. When Jordan wore these on the basketball court, they were banned, but he still wore them despite paying fines each game he wears them. Once released to the public for people to purchase, it didn't sell well and ended up in the discount section of the local shoe store. But now the Original models of these sneakers are claimed to be "Holy Grails" and a true collector's must-have and are retailing for over $1000.
